Growing up in Natick Massachusetts, Sue Smith began her career working at Media One, a local cable television studio in Wayland, Massachusetts as a Production and Programming Manager. Leaving to pursue work on the independent film scene, she worked as a Unit Production Manager on "Gabriella" and "An American Dream", two feature length independent feature films shot entirely in Boston. Moving to California in 2000, Sue is currently a union member in good standing at Local 871 and a member of the Producers Guild of America. She has worked on such studio films as "Kill Bill 1 & 2", "The Aviator", "No Country For Old Men", "Friends With Benefits", and "The Front Runner". Turning towards the streaming world last year, Sue has worked on the Paramount Network's, "Yellowstone", and "The Underground Railroad" for Amazon. Sue Smith is a standup comedian who was voted one of the 10 Funniest Women in NYC by Time Out New York. You may have seen her on VH1's Best Week Ever, I Love the 2000s or 40 Greatest Viral Videos. Most recently, she appeared on Lifetime's People's Sexiest Man Alive: 30 Years of Sexy and alongside Jordan Sparks on MTV's Middle of the Night Show.
Sue is a versatile performer with experience in standup, improv, and character work. Her debut standup EP, Slutty Pretzel, was called, "a great introduction to a promising young comedian," by Paste. Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Samantha's passion for meaningful media brought her to Los Angeles where she studied film and television production at Pepperdine University, earning her Masters of Arts in Media Production. She continued to develop her craft working on many exciting documentary projects under Academy Award nominated director Lucy Walker.
